So Nathan Knight has been doing radio a long time. Nathan is addicted to radio. Some guys have a wood working shop in their homes or maybe a man cave...Nathan has a broadcast studio in his home that rivals many actual radio station studios. Nathan is also our resident Class Rock Musicologist. Just ask him a question about a group or album and he'll dazzle you with encyclopedic rock n' roll knowledge!
Al Chalmers - WEEKDAYS 10 to 3
Al Chalmers was born Alexei Sergeievich Chalmsky in Volgagrad, U.S.S.R. in April of 1962. After a sketchy grade school career, Chalmers attended Agriculture Polytechnique in Budapest, Hungary from 1981-1985 with degrees in Agricultural Literature, Farm Mechanics and Ancient Philosophy. After learning about the ways of the West from some of his classmates, Chalmers affected a daring escape from captivity in 1985 and, after a brief stay in a Tibetan monastery, from which he was expelled, he made his way to the shores of America. With an inheritance from a long-lost Uncle, Chalmers founded a farm in Northeast North Dakota in 1992. After appearing as a guest on many Farm Radio shows, Chalmers began his career as a Classic Rock DJ in 2011. The rest... is history.
Stoneman - WEEKdays 3 - 7 PM
We found The Stoneman while on vacation in the Colorado Rockies. At the time he was a conductor on a small railroad that catered to tourists who wanted to experience the scenic mountains by rail. At first we thought the announcements being made on the train were a recording made by a professional voice over artist in Hollywood, then it was pointed out that the guy talking over the public address system was in fact this guy, the trains conductor! We hired him on the spot!
